I’m starting to get into speedwork on Mondays and tempo runs on Wednesdays. I know some would say that runs between 8:30 and 10 minute/mile pace are not speedwork & tempo runs, but they are for me! It was good to get back into my routine and the weather is cooling off a bit. I can wait until the kids are at school and Paul is at work before I head out to run.
The 20-miler was tough. It took me a long time, it got hot, I was bored, and I ran out of water. I was really struggling for the final two miles. It is done.
